With the Grain
plaques are made by a sportsman for a sportsman. David has
lived and hunted the majority of his life in the Upper
Peninsula of Michigan, and knows what works best for mounting wild
game. He has been making wild game mounting plaques for himself and his friends
for 25 years. He takes great pride in what he makes and enjoys seeing
the finished product. David started making these trophy
mounting plaques
because he was tired of the same boring plaques made by
manufacturers. They were dark and cheapley made.
Each plaque is hand
made individually so no two are alike. He uses the natural
beauty of the wood to accent the mount.
David loves a
challenge when making a plaque. He lives for special orders
and can make a mounting plaque for any wild game (turkey, deer, elk,
bear, pheasant, fish, etc)
Our wild game mounting plaques can also
be made out of more than one type of wood. Any combination of
the cherry, pine, oak, and hemlock can be used to make a plaque at
no additional charge.
